A database containing many full text science articles including health Swetswise A database containing full text articles PsycARTICLES Covers psychology and the psychological aspects of related disciplines CINAHL This database provides indexing for 2,587 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health Google Scholar indexes the full text of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Because most of Google Scholar's search results link directly to commercial journal articles, you may find that you will only be able to access a brief summary of the articles topics. If you cannot access the article check to see if the University has a subscription to the journal by going to our e journals listing Web of Knowledge An index to articles covering all disciplines. Westlaw. A general legal database including, case law, legislation, also includes the Legal Journals Index (LJI), including some full text journals. Updated daily. Lexis Nexis includes the full text of a variety of useful resources such as newspapers (broadsheet, regional and tabloid). Subject area coverage includes: legal information, medical information, business information, media information, computing information and many others. Zetoc provides electronic table of contents access to thousands of journals held by the British Library, covering 15 million article and conference records. The database covers the years from 1993 to date and is updated daily. There is also a useful alerting service
Electronic journals by titleIf you know the title of a journal or magazine use the electronic journals list to find out if you can view the full text of the journal online. Here is a list of recommended titles in your area. Print journalsWhile there is a good range of electronic journals in your area, do not forget our printed journals. It may well be that there is only a printed copy available to you. There is an online tutorial within the RefWorks program. Subject GatewaysFor quality assured websites try the following: Usernames and passwordsMost online resources use your University Username and Password to authorise access. On campus you will be recognised automatically when you logon to a PC. You should only be asked to login when you are off campus. To do this you will need the details of your student Username and Password. Your username is shown on your student card. Note: When using some online resources, you may be asked to enter the details of your University ATHENS account - this is the same username and password as your University logon details above.
